May turned out to be a very busy month - one full of change - for us. I was released as the Primary Secretary and called to be the Stake Cultural Arts Director. I had previously served on the Stake Cultural Arts Committee as the Secretary/Publicist, so accepting the call as director was something I struggled with greatly because I was aware of the time commitment it required and stress it created. I really, REALLY didn't want the calling and questioned the timing of it all, but accepted it all the same. Along with his Assistant Financial Clerk call, Eric was called to serve as a Nursery Worker. He absolutely LOVES being in Nursery and several of the children now attend because there is a fun, friendly dad in there who cares for them. {Stryker is the same way, he really likes "dads" and prefers chillin' with most guys over the ladies...}
We helped Anna and her family move to a really nice basement apartment in Murrary - which seems so much more manageable than Logan! :) I love the thought of having her closer and more accessible for visits...and I'm sure Heidi and Stryker agree!
We also enjoyed attending a niece's baptism and hosting a Memorial Day party for the local fam. I'm sure there were lots of other things, but if I don't take pictures I have a hard time remembering what we've been doing. :)
