June was another busy month with summertime activities and non-stop family visits the last half of the month into the first week of July. We had niece Ashley the 14-19, Anna and Heidi June 19-21, niece Andrea 22-24, and niece Madilyn July 6-11. We also got to see Kathi and Christian for a few minutes in there too! :) We had some good times! Boy was VERY SAD when all of his friends stopped coming...
I also surprised Zuri with a special birthday present this year - a trip to the Thanksgiving Point Princess Festival! It was a really fun day of time spent with just me, her, and the princesses. :)
I doubt I would ever plant rose bushes of my own fruition, but the bushes by our front door sure are pretty for a few weeks each summer!

JUNE 17 - KIDS SAY THE DARNEDEST THINGS
My niece Ashley is here visiting and as we were driving home from the store, we were discussing what to have for lunch. We decided on tuna fish sandwiches. I asked Ashley what she liked in her tuna and before she could respond, boy chimed in from the back, "Um...apple!" He acted like he was very involved in our conversation and so matter-of-fact about it that Ash and I were dying of laughter. Such a funny little boy!
I'm not sure how Ashley managed to sneak out of our house without any pictures being taken! I must be preggo! We LOVED our visit with Ashley, she is such a sweet, service-oriented, and positive person! She is also very good at seeing a need and filling it without being asked. WE LOVE HER!!! :)
JUNE 19 - MANNERS MATTER
We were eating dinner and boy wanted to be done/get down from the table. He said, "Down 'peeze', mama." This is the first time he has said that sentence...and the proper use of please all on his own. I was so proud! And man, it's sure fun to help people who use their manners! :)
JUNE 23 - 13 WEEKS
Along with our pregnancy, we get to share the joy of new babies with my sister Anna {due end of October}, our friend Mariah {due the day after us}, and our sis-in-law Ashley {due beginning of January}. We are SO EXCITED to meet all of these little ones! Seems like they got together and decided they would come at the same time so that they could continue to party as best friends! :)
