April brought with it some very exciting and happy news for our little family - Baby Sorensen #2 will be arriving toward the end of December! Wahoo! We are so happy for Stryker to be a big brother, we think he'll LOVE it! We're hoping this pregnancy goes as smoothly as Stryker's - I REALLY loved being pregnant with Stryker {the 6 months of no migraines might have been a huge contributing factor with that! :) } - and we're really looking forward to meeting our second edition!
APRIL 1 - BOY'S APRIL FOOLS TRICK
He's pretty clever. Found him in his laundry tote. I'm pretty sure he thought it would be a funny April Fools joke. ;)
APRIL 3 - BEING RANDOM
APRIL 10 - STRYKER IS TWO!
My old employer, Culinary Crafts, called in a last minute favor to have me come in and run the office April 9 and 10. I was somewhat excited by the prospect of going back into work for a couple of days, but man!, it was exhausting. You full-time working moms are some form of superhuman. It's really hard to work all day and then come home to work some more! :) I am VERY GRATEFUL that I live in a situation that does not require me to work full-time whilst being a mom. Eric is such an incredible man to provide for his family and sacrifice so much so that we can live in comfort and peace. I am much better at parenting when I put Stryker and his needs first. {But it's good to have something "for me" too, I really enjoy my Spicy Designs business, but I'm grateful it's something I can do from home.}
And now Stryker is TWO! Wow, where did that time go!? Stryker is the greatest blessing in our lives and we absolutely love having him around. Stryker is a very sweet and loving little boy. He is meticulous, cautious, friendly, fun-loving, engineer-minded, dexterous, observant, and lover of all things transportation-oriented. He truly is the sunshine in our days. We love you, little man! Happy Birthday!!!

APRIL 13 - PLAYDATE
Boy got to enjoy a playdate with his "Uncle" Theresa today. She is a smart lady, she took him to the duck pond. :) He also got to watch some cranes and other such machinery on the construction site. He had a GREAT TIME! Thanks again for the little break, sister. You rock!!!

My sis-in-law commissioned me to make a T-shirt quilt for my niece for her high school graduation gift. It was a huge project, but I think it turned out mostly awesome in the end. I definitely made note of things I would do differently next time... :)
