AUGUST 1 - A SPICY BIRTHDAY
We celebrated the birth of Incredible Spicy at the Seven Peaks Pool and then enjoyed some wicked delicious Indian food from Bombay House. It was well worth adding the extra year, right friend!? ;) We love you!

AUGUST 2 - BOY AND ART
When young, I felt I lacked all of the natural artistic talent my parents and siblings so obviously possessed. Time {and some persistence} taught me that I didn't lack, I merely needed to find the artistic avenues that best suited my abilities.
Stryker already displays natural abilities when it comes to rhythm, dancing, and singing, so I thought we'd jump on the drawing/painting bandwagon whilst he's young. :)
Eric showed the boy how a flashlight works...
AUGUST 7 - BROOKLYN & IAN WEDDING!!!
My niece and her betrothed had a "Destination Sealing" in the Portland Oregon Temple. They were kind enough to let me photograph their big day - and what a gorgeous day is was! I made a quick trip without the hubby or boy - and met up with my parents in the SLC airport. We spent 42 awesome hours together celebrating two of our most favorite young people. :) Congrats you two! {Madi & Chris, seriously, one of the BEST DAYS E-V-E-R! Thanks for letting me be your friend...and auntie! :) }
AUGUST 9 - BOY AND ART...CONTINUED
After the fun we had drawing in the kitchen, we decided to take it outside for Stryker's very first experience with sidewalk chalk. He's good, he's real good. :)
| So, apparently the mama needs to practice writing upside down... :) |

AUGUST 14 - TRIP PREP & SWEET PAINTING
Sister, the cousin twins, and myself are headed out to Colorado for Bee & Ian's Wedding PAR-TAY! Whoop whoop! The kids have no idea what they're up against tomorrow - 9.5 hour roadtrip!
And sister rocked out this incredible painting for me. She's got skill!

AUGUST 20 - MORE MINION BABIES!
Since I was busy the night of the reception, I didn't get to help pose the babies for awesome cousin-twin minion pictures. So once we got back from Colorado, Anna, Darrin, the babies, and myself headed out for a mini photo shoot. And by mini I mean it lasted for 5 minutes tops. The kids were D-O-N-E! Ha ha ha. They'll thank me later... :)

AUGUST 22
Few things make my heart happier than seeing how much our little son loves his dad {and vice versa}.
AUGUST 24 - TIBBLE FORK
We took the newlyweds up Tibble Fork Canyon for some fun with the buggy and Nat's 4-wheeler. Unfortunately, the buggy broke down. Fortunately, we had the 4-wheeler so E was quick to get the truck, we broke down in a spot where the road was wide enough for people to pass us, and I was in good company {and help with Stryker!} despite the sudden change of plans. B & I drove the 4-wheeler back down the mountain, so hopefully they felt their adventure wasn't cut too short. I thought it was still a great day!
