OCTOBER 1 - FLYING SOLO
Documentation of Stryker's ENTIRELY SOLO eating experience. It made me queasy - looking at the pictures makes me feel just as sick. Needless to say, his daddo was in charge of clean-up. :)
OCTOBER 3 - MR. CLEAN
Boy's added vacuuming to his cleaning repertoire. Oh yeah, baby! :)
OCTOBER 5 - BOY & BUGGY
Once boy's in the buggy, it's almost impossible to get him out. We're talking death-grip on the steering wheel. He knows all of the various engine noises of his dad's vehicles - and if he hears the buggy rev up without being in it, he's very sad indeed!
One of my favorite pictures of Styker. He looks so "at home," don't you think?
OCTOBER 10 - EIGHTEEN MONTHS OLD!!!
WHAT THE!? I've often called our firstborn "Little Man," but this is the first time he actually looked like one to me. It's nuts.
But what a joy he's been in our lives! It's been fun to learn "his language" and I think we're doing a great job of understanding each other.
Stryker's Stats:
33 1/16" Tall {70th %tile}
23.13 Pounds {20th %tile}
18.75" Head Circ {50th %tile}

OCTOBER 18 - PLAYDATE
I moved on average every two years for the first 18 years of my life; change was a constant. The fact that we have lived in this house for five years and I haven't totally lost it is amazing to me. That's not to say that I don't have my moments...but they can often be remedied with small changes in furniture placement and PAINT. We finally repainted the living room and I LOVE IT! This house is hard to work with because all the tones are brown {I'm a grey and black type of gal}, but we found a gorgeous marriage between the brown and grey world with a lovely shade of taupe. The pictures don't do it justice, but I'm good for a few more months at least. ;)
BEFORE
Boy's Barricade - he really wanted in on the painting action!
AFTER
Taupe
Ta-da! Alisyn's one happy lady right now!
OCTOBER 27 - HALLOWEEN PARTY
I have a few certain friends who request my Halloween Party each year, though I must say I'm getting pretty boring about parties these days. At least the food was good. :) Eric had the brilliant idea of dressing Stryker up as Calvin and himself as Hobbes. SO CUTE! I didn't really know what to do, so I opted for Calvin's tired mom. Lame but true. :) Thanks again to everyone who came out and celebrated with us!
OCTOBER 30 - MINI MECHANIC
It makes my heart happy. :)
