Week of Projects

Saturday, February 14 - The beloved {heart} day. Baptism for two of our boys. Then Not Steve & I spend the morning together looking at model homes. We then enjoy a very romantical lunch at Pollo Loco. It was a good day. We then hosted a wickedly fun and insanely intense IRON CHEF Competition. The secret ingredient: HONEY. Congrats to S/S/Z who won the title of Valentine's Day IRON CHEFS with their honey glazed breaded shrimp!!!

Sunday, February 15 - Stake Conference. Supposed to work on a presentation for the Mia Maids, snuggled and rested instead.

Monday, February 16 - Bridals for Shar. Sister acted as Artistic Director. It was awesome, we were snowed on, sunshined on, and blown all over the place. The poor gal was freezing her little arms off. What we do for gorgeous pix is beyond me! Locations: Mt. Timp Temple, AF Amphitheater, and BYU Campus. We were both pleased with the results (phew!).

Tuesday, February 17 - Attempted to work on Mia Maid presentation in morning. Didn't get far. Though Cricut = Awesomeness. Dropped some lunch off with Not Steve. Met up with Tami for lunch. Enjoyed seeing her again, miss her guts. Met up with Spicy at Pier One. Found amazing huge glass bowls...potential reception material for Debn. Come home super exhausted for some reason (shopping does that to me). Hit the Mia Maid presentation visuals hard. Made a dent.

Wednesday, February 18 - Woke up with heart racing. Had to get serious with presentation...since it was DAY OF. Spent five hours scripting it out. Packed visuals. Visited the chiro. Aaaah. Relief. Hurried home to finish printing script and hand-outs. Plated dessert. Ran a few minutes behind, felt embarrassed about not arriving on time. Had a dry mouth. Why didn't I bring a water bottle!? Gave my presentation. Nerves stopped three minutes into it. Beehives were there too. Good comments and participation. Pretty pleased with the results. Then IT WAS OVER. I was happy. Snuggled with Not Steve, watched The Bachelor whilst eating popcorn. BEST DETOX EVER!

Thursday, February 19 - Another day with an alarm. Don't like those. Got ready and was very "unprepared" for enrichment meeting. This is "my" activity, so felt dumb not having more to say and not really having anything done for it. Meeting lasts for 2 HOURS! Not too fond of that. Hurry and think of clever advertisement and send it to chair. Head to ZoobieVille/Family Town USA/LEhi with Not Steve. Pick up bridals from Shar. Stop by Not Steve's work. Have lunch with Kev. Visit dollar store (bless them!). Return home and start posters for enrichment quarterly. Hang with S/S/Z/M. Eat brownies and ice-cream. Another GREAT DETOX!!! Play a rather intriguing game about monks. Almost win the second time, but M accidentally switched the cards...so no one could possibly win. Laugh really hard. Good times!!!

Friday, February 20 - Clean some things around the house. Visit Wally World. Work on enrichment posters. Spicy & Z come. Happiness. We play and talk. I take pix of daisies. Z is just the cutest thing ever! Feel good about my amateur skills. Spicy is so nice! Date with Not Steve. "Confessions of a Shopaholic," which varied a bit from the book, but still enjoyable. Return home and hit the enrichment posters hard. Not only make a dent, but finish! Breathe easier. They don't look anything like I was hoping. *sigh* Too tired to care. SLEEP.

Hint: Family Feud

Saturday, February 21 - Still sitting in my bathrobe at 10:00 a.m. Listening to the hum of the refrigerator. Gearing myself up for Shar's reception. Set-up at 3:00 p.m. It will be gorgeous.

Um...You're absolutely amazing! I love you!

And I agree...this is lame. I mean enough is enough. We really need to hang. Evening are good for me. Weekend evenings are even better. Or if you wanted to go to lunch sometime we could do that too :)

Sweet, Meagan! We're on! E and I are headed to CO this weekend through next week, but let's plan for something March 13 or 14...??? Did you have any specific form of partying in mind? :)
