a failing

i have many failings, but one of the biggest is my tendency to hang onto "important papers." these "important papers" are defined as pretty much anything from anyone i deem important in my life, so they include, though at not limited to: birthday cards, thank you cards, christmas cards/letters, sympathy cards, poems, regular letters, notes and drawings from nieces/nephews, etc.

one of my big projects has been to sort through and "deal with" these piles of cherished words from those i love. AND IT IS HARD! i often feel overwhelmed and walk away from the project because i don't have the heart to throw any of it away! in some ways, it's part of my history - good parts of my life - and who wants to throw the good stuff away!?

but realistically we don't have room to store all of it, so what does one do?

my solution has been to sit on the couch with my feet up whilst reading a book!

Oh my! That is exactly what I have been doing for the past 10 days or so. I finally have Eric's 'baby book' caught up to his mission and can now start on Kevin's. I think his is at age 2 right now. Good luck!
